Rocketflip. I created this video in 2008 to accompany a presentation entitled "Beyond the Playground." My presentation was about bullying and its effects. I focused on Albert Bandura's social learning theory which states individuals, especially children, learn aggressive responses from observing others, either personally or through the media and environment. He stated that many individuals believed that aggression will produce reinforcements. These reinforcements can formulate into reduction of tension, gaining financial rewards, or gaining the praise of others, or building self-esteem (Siegel, 1992: p.171) Bandura focused his studies on aggression. His Bobo doll experiment is his most famous and was conducted in the early 1960s. In this experiment, Bandura found that children were more likely to beat the hell out of an inflatable clown doll if they had observed someone else doing it. They were also drawn to a toy gun in the room. Music: "Making Me Sick" Bash & Pop and "Clowns are Experts (At making us laugh)" The Vandals Video: savevid.com
