The Jade Ribbon Youth Council is dedicated to spreading awareness of the high prevalence and the preventable nature of Hepatitis B at the grassroots level, starting with their peers. For one of their projects, they have proclaimed March 18-24 to be "Hepatitis B Awareness Week" in 9 different cities in the Bay Area, California.
