Rocketflip. "Little Bitty Pretty One" was written and first recorded by Bobby Day in 1957. But that same year Thurston Harris covered it and took the song all the way to #6 on the pop charts. The song has been covered many times since and even the following year in 1958, Frankie Lymon, out on his own and split with The Teenagers recorded a version quite similar to Thurston's.
